Getting started
What does an emergency roofing company do?
We stop water from entering a damaged roof, make the building safe and carry out the repairs that follow. That means tarping and board-up, leak repair, clearing fallen limbs, storm damage repair and, when a roof is beyond repair, replacement.
Do you work in my city?
We serve Nashville and 35 more cities and towns across Middle Tennessee. Each has its own page on this site, and if yours is not listed, call and ask.
Do you handle commercial roofs as well as homes?
Yes. Flat, low-slope, metal and shingle roofs on offices, retail, warehouses, apartments, churches and schools, with equipment and crews sized to the building.
How do I get help?
Call (615) 410-9749 or send the form on this page. Tell us what happened and where you see water, and we will explain the safest next step.
Tarping and temporary repairs
How does emergency roof tarping work?
We clear sharp debris, cut a heavy tarp to size and fasten it to wood battens over the damaged area, running up and over the ridge where we can. It sheds water until the permanent repair.
How long can a tarp stay on?
A tarp is short term. How long it is reasonable depends on the tarp, the installation and the weather, so we tell you what to expect for yours and check it if repairs are delayed.
Will a tarp stop every leak?
A well-installed tarp stops most water entry from the covered area. It does not repair the roof, and we explain what it does and does not protect.
Can you tarp in the rain?
Safety comes first. If conditions make it unsafe we explain the risk, and we protect the opening in the safest way available.
Storm damage and repairs
How do I know if hail or wind damaged my roof?
Dented gutters and vents, granules in the downspouts, missing or creased shingles and debris in the yard are signs. Much damage is hidden from the ground, so a close inspection is the only way to be sure.
Do I need a repair or a new roof?
It depends on how widespread the damage is and the age and condition of the rest of the roof. We give you a plain recommendation with photos.
Will new shingles match my old ones?
We match as closely as practical. Older and discontinued shingles may not match perfectly, and we say so before we begin.
Do you remove fallen trees?
We handle the roof side: limbs, debris, board-up and tarping. Large trunks usually need a tree service, and we help coordinate so the roof is protected.
Insurance and cost
Do you work with insurance companies?
We document damage, explain repairs and can meet your adjuster when you ask us to. Your insurer decides coverage, and we do not promise any outcome.
Should I call my insurer first?
Many owners protect the property and document first, then call. Read your policy for deadlines, and keep receipts for emergency steps.
How much does emergency roof repair cost?
It depends on the size and type of damage, access and the repair needed. Our cost planner shows factors with placeholder ranges, and we explain the price before work begins.
Will you waive my deductible?
No. Be cautious of any contractor who offers to. It can cause problems for you, and the deductible is between you and your insurer.
