Rafter and Truss Damage Repair, explained.
Framing damage is the serious end of storm damage. A tree can crack rafters, wind can shift trusses and fire can char timbers. The roof above may still look fine, but the load path has been broken.
We assess the framing from the attic and above, brace what has to be braced and arrange repairs, sistering rafters or replacing truss members as the situation requires, working with an engineer where truss or structural changes are involved.
Signs you need this
- A rafter or truss member is cracked or broken
- A tree, wind or fire struck the roof structure
- The roofline looks uneven or sagging
- Ceilings have new cracks or bulges
